Flavia is a PhD student in Personal and Educational Sciences at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (UCSC) of Milan, where she also obtained a II level University Master in “Behavioural Neuroscience: Prevention, Neuroempowerment and Neurorehabilitation”. In February 2024 she won a PRIN research grant for a project focused on the psychological and neurophysiological aspects of human-robot interaction.
She is a licensed psychologist with experience in both clinical and research settings within the field of neuropsychology and applied neuroscience. She has gained skills in neuropsychological assessments of adults and elderly and in the use of neuroscientific tools such as electroencephalogram (EEG), fNIRS, eyetracker, and autonomic measurements.
She is a member of the International Research Center for Cognitive Applied Neuroscience (IrcCAN), Faculty of Psychology, and of the Research Unit in Affective and Social Neuroscience, Department of Psychology, UCSC. She is an associated member of the Italian Association of Psychology (AIP) and a member of the Editorial Staff of the international journal Neuropsychological Trends.
